New Shows to Watch in January 2026
The first month of 2026 will be packed with some of your favorite series making their return with new seasons. To name just a few – the Emmy-winning breakout medical drama The Pitt returns with its highly anticipated second season on January 8, along with Season 2 of NBC’s crime procedural The Hunting Party, HBO’s financial thriller Industry is back with Season 4 on January 11, the drama-filled series Tell Me Lies premieres with Season 3 on Hulu January 13, the Idris Elba-led thriller Hijack is back for a second season on January 14 on Apple TV, and the first part of the fourth season of Netflix’s hit romance, Bridgerton, drops on January 29.
But January 2026 will also see many new shows making their debuts throughout the month. From drama, crime, comedy, thriller, to mystery, here are 12 new shows to watch in January 2026.
Run Away – January 1 (Netflix)
