As we say goodbye to 2023 and get ready for a new year, 2024 has tons of new TV content slated to premiere with many making their debut in January. The Brothers Sun (January 4)

Grimsburg (January 7)

Genre: Animation Comedy

Synopsis: “In Grimsburg, Marvin Flute (Jon Hamm) may be the greatest detective ever to catch a cannibal clown or correctly identify a mid-century modern armoire. Boy Swallows Universe (January 11)

Genre: Coming-of-age Drama

Ted (January 11)

Synopsis: “In this comedic prequel event series to the Ted films, it’s 1993, and Ted the bear’s (Seth MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Belgravia: The Next Chapter (January 14)

True Detective: Night Country (January 14)

Death and Other Details (January 16)

Genre: Mystery Drama

The Woman in the Wall (January 19)

Genre: Psychological Thriller 

Cast: Ruth Wilson, Daryl McCormick, Simon Delaney, Philippa Dunne, Mark Huberman, Hilda Fay

Synopsis: “Distinct, stirring, and revelatory, The Woman in the Wall is a psychologically and emotionally compelling detective story shot through with dark humor. Griselda (January 25)

Genre: Crime Drama

Synopsis: “The series is inspired by the life of the savvy and ambitious Griselda Blanco, who created one of the most profitable cartels in history. Masters of the Air (January 26)

Genre: War Drama

Cast: Austin Butler, Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle, Nate Mann, Barry Keoghan, Rafferty Law, Edward Ashley, Jonas Moore, Ncuti Gatwa, Josiah Cross Elliot Warren, Matt Gavan, Branden Cook

Synopsis: “Based on Donald L. Miller’s book of the same name, and scripted by John Orloff, “Masters of the Air” follows the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the “Bloody Hundredth”) as they conduct perilous bombing raids over Nazi Germany and grapple with the frigid conditions, lack of oxygen and sheer terror of combat conducted at 25,000 feet in the air.
