A lot happened before their big break on Netflix, but this list features 10 Netflix stars who at some point appeared on a Nickelodeon show. We know there are probably tons that are missing which could have made our list but here are the 10 that we think stand out to us right now!
1. Benjamin Flores Jr. (Fear Street) –The Haunted Hathaways (2013-2015)
The Fear Street Trilogy star was actually a series regular on 2 Nickelodeon shows; The Haunted Hathaways and Game Shakers.
2. Christian Serratos (Selena: The Series) – Ned’s Declasified School Survival Guide (2004-2007)
Serratos, who stars as Selena in the popular Netflix series, played the infamous Suzie Crabgrass in Ned’s Declaisified School Survival Guide from 2004-2007.
3. Dylan Minnette (13 Reasons Why) – Drake and Josh (2006)
Dylan Minnette, who is known for many roles including Clay in 13 Reasons Why, appeared very quickly in one episode of Drake and Josh in 2006 as a kid who annoys Josh. This was actually Dylan’s second time on screen.
4. Owen Joyner (Julie and the Phantoms) – Knight Squad (2018-2019)
Prior to signing on with JATP, Joyner appeared in 30 episodes of the medieval Nickelodeon comedy Knight Squad as Arc.
5. Isabela Merced (Sweet Thing) – 100 Things to Do Before High School (2014-2016)
Fresh off her action flick Sweet Girl alongside Jason Momoa, Merced was a series regular in 100 Thing to Do Before High School which also starred Owen Joyner.
6. Annalisa Cochrane (Cobra Kai) – Henry Danger (2017)
Known for the popular yet mean girl character Yasmine in Cobra Kai, Annalisa also appeared in a 2017 episode of Henry Danger.
7. Tanner Buchanan (Cobra Kai, He’s All That) – Game Shakers (2015-2019)
We have another Cobra Kai peep added to the list. Tanner Buchanan who was also recently in Netflix’s, He’s All That, can be seen in multiple episodes of Game Shakers alongside Benjamin Jr Flores.
8. Taylor Zakhar Perez (The Kissing Booth 2 and 3) – iCarly (2012)
Before his popular role in The Kissing Booth 2 and 3, Taylor made an appearnace in one episode of iCarly in 2012.
9. Matty Cardarople (Stranger Things) – Bella and The Bulldogs (2015)
Known as the funny arcade guy Keith in Stranger Things, Cardarople made an appearance in 2 episodes of Bella and The Bulldogs alongside Brec Basinger.
10. Aidan Gallagher (The Umbrella Academy) – Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn (2014-2018)
This one goes without saying. Before The Umbrella Academy, Aidan was a series regular on Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn as the character Nicky.
