The new British limited series, Bodies premiered in October on Netflix and is more than just a crime series. The genre-bending show is a mix of mystery, crime, thriller, sci-fi, and period drama spanning four different time periods. The 8-episode series stars Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (The Queen’s Gambit), Shira Haas (Unorthodox), Amaka Okafor (The Split), Kyle Soller (Poldark), Greta Scacchi (Run Rabbit Run), Stephen Graham (Boiling Point), Michael Jibson (The Essex Serpent), and Tom Mothersdale (Culprits).

Based on the graphic novel by Si Spencer, Bodies follows the same body found on Longharvest Lane in London’s East End in 1890, 1941, 2023 and 2053 and one detective from each period must investigate. As connections are drawn across the decades, the detectives soon discover their investigations are linked.
