A few days ago, Netflix announced the launch of Birthdays On-Demand which is a series of videos featuring popular TV characters from children’s shows singing happy birthday. Netflix hopes that this will become a regular part of children’s birthday parties, where kids can gather around and interact with their favorite TV characters and sing happy birthday. There are currently 15 videos available, which are each two minutes in length. To access the videos, all one has to do is search “birthday” on Netflix.
Currently there are birthday greetings from Barbie, All Hail King Julien, Beat Bugs, Dinotrux, Las Leyendas, LEGO Friends, LEGO Ninjago, Word Party, My Little Pony, Luna Petunia, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, Pokemon, Project Mc2, Skylanders Academy, and Trollhunters.
The reason why Netflix decided to launch this new feature in September is because according to research, September is the most popular month for births.
